Luisa Hubner

Luisa’s long-time engagement with the local communities of Hamilton and Burlington are evident in both education and volunteerism. Upon graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, Luisa articled with Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants in Hamilton, achieving her CA designation. During her varied career path, Luisa held positions in finance, marketing, and sales, and is a retired member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

Luisa has co-chaired fundraising events for local schools, always with a focus on enhancing the students’ experience. She has Board level experience on the professional side, as well as cultural and community. Luisa feels most fortunate to have spent several years in the academic environment. She served as the Director of Budgeting and then as a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. She has also had the pleasure of lecturing in Business Administration and Small Business Management at Mohawk College.


Luisa, her husband and their three grown sons all call Burlington home. They enjoy the outdoors and spending time as a family.

Deepa Ganatra

Deepa is a registered physiotherapist with over 25 years experience treating pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric athletes. She is currently self-employed as a physiotherapist, and a Learning Facilitator for Sport For Life Physical Literacy programs.


A life-long resident of Hamilton-Burlington, Deepa is very involved in her community as the current President of Beta Sigma Phi Burlington City Council, and a 13 year member of Beta Xi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Burlington (a women’s organization serving the community).

Over the past 15 years, she has actively participated on Parent Councils at Fairview Glen Montessori School and John T. Tuck Public School, and acted as team trainer and assistant coach for G01Y competitive soccer team (BYSC). Deepa and her husband have been married for 24 years, and have raised their four children in Hamilton/Burlington since 2001. In her down-time, she enjoys family game night (which gets too competitive, too fast!), walking their goofy black Lab, reading, and being with friends.

Dr. Frank Fornasier

Dr. Fornasier has been a hospitalist at Joseph Brant Hospital since 2010. His work involves caring for patients whose family doctors no longer have privileges at Joseph Brant Hospital, and ensuring that a line of communication is in place with the respective family doctor about any hospital stays. Frank is passionate about healthcare and dreams of a totally connected health care environment. Dr. Fornasier obtained his medical degree and trained at the University of Ottawa and completed his post graduate training at Dalhousie University.

Previously he worked as a hospitalist in the Niagara Health System, and as a family physician in both the United States and Ontario. Frank keeps active in the community and in the hospital – he is presently Chair of Health Records at Joseph Brant Hospital, Chief Medical Information Officer, and Head of the Hospital Medicine Service.

Frank lives in beautiful Burlington and he enjoys building anything with his hands, playing golf, hanging out with his children, learning and forgetting trivia, and technology in the workplace.

Ian Clark

Ian Clark is a serial entrepreneur whose expertise has enabled him to start five businesses, sell four and invest in another four. With over 35 years of business experience, Ian’s skillset and accomplishments reach far and wide.  In 2017, Ian sold his most successful and profitable business to a European venture capitalist backed firm. After a brief partnership with that company, in 2019 Ian ventured on his own yet again and founded Executive On Demand (EOD) – a consulting company to help executives achieve more success in their business. Recognized among his peers, colleagues and customers, Ian has been the recipient of numerous awards over the duration of his career.

Ian is married to his wife Maria and has 3 children.  In his free time, Ian loves to sail, ski and spend time at the family-built cottage. He resides in Burlington and is an active member of the community.

Lloyd Bryant

Lloyd Bryant is the Retired President and CEO of HP Canada. During Lloyd’s tenure HP Canada was recognized for delivering exceptional results, being one of Canada’s best places to work, as well as being the most environmentally responsible IT company in Canada. While at HP Lloyd was responsible for overseeing HP Canada’s environmental programs and in 2012 and again in 2013, Lloyd was named as one of Canada’s Clean 16, recognizing individuals who have had the most impact on clean capitalism in his sector.

Lloyd currently serves on the board of directors of Canada Post, is a member of the audit and pension committees, and is the Chair of the Boards Environmental, Social and Governance committee. Lloyd  also serves on the board of directors of Purolator and is currently the Chair of the board of directors for SCI Logistics.  Lloyd also serves on the board of directors of Comkids a charity which  provides technology and digital literacy training  to high potential youth from financially disadvantaged families. Lastly, Lloyd serves as the Chair of the board of directors for WWF in Canada and is a member of WWF’s international council.

Lloyd and his wife Nicole live in North Burlington, and enjoy hiking and cycling in the beautiful Niagara Escarpment region and sailing on Georgian Bay.

Eileen Bidulka

A graduate of McMaster University, Eileen’s professional experience includes sales and marketing responsibilities for local municipal governments in both Hamilton and Burlington and a local professional association.  For the last 12 years, Eileen has been fortunate to have been able to devote a great deal of time to philanthropic efforts in both Hamilton where she was born and raised, as well as Burlington where she has resided with her husband and three children since 1998.

Eileen served on the Board of Directors of the Mark Preece Family House, which provides accommodation for families of acute care patients at Hamilton area hospitals for five years, leading many fundraising events and initiatives both during her time on the Board as well as five years preceding her Board appointment, as a committee member.  Eileen has also assisted in fundraising initiatives at the Nelson Youth Centres and JDRF.  An avid golfer, Eileen served as the 2018 Women’s Golf Captain at the Hamilton Golf & Country Club and was named Chair of the Player Services Committee for the 2019 RBC Canadian Open.

Anthony Martinello

Anthony is a Director of finance and treasury including the Chair of the pension investment committee for the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). He is primarily responsible for directing and managing over $1 billion in IESO investments, $700 million in pension investments, $2 billion in debt facilities, and $1 billion in credit-risk securities.


Anthony has a Master of Business Administration degree from McMaster University, professional accounting designation (CA CPA), and a professional investment designation (CFA).  Since 2008, he has been a member of the Pension Investment Association of Canada.


Anthony and his wife Josie are proud parents of two children.  He enjoys spending time with his family, actively supporting his children’s team sports activities, and travel.

Anna Iacobelli

Over the course of her career, Anna has established a reputation stemming from numerous senior roles, spanning many of TD’s businesses including: Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Human Resources, Operations & Technology and North American Phone Channel.


As the Senior Vice President, Metro West Region for TD Bank Group, she is responsible for the leadership of all of the region’s branches and banking operations – from Vaughan to Niagara – including the strategic direction and positioning for future growth. She takes pride and is known among her colleagues for serving and developing others.

She is a holder of the Institute of Corporate Directors Director designation and she proudly sits on the boards for TD’s Friends of the Environment Foundation and the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation. Lastly, she takes pride in mentoring colleagues within TD and is actively involved with TD’s Women in Leadership initiatives.


In her spare time, she is an avid runner and traveler, having conquered the Rome and Greece marathons. She also enjoys combining leisure time with family and friends in beautiful destinations around the world.

Leon Denbok

Leon is the President and Co-founder of DenBok Landscaping & Design Ltd. DenBok Ltd has provided residential and commercial landscape construction and maintenance services since 1992 within the GTA. Leon has over 30 years of experience in the green industry and holds numerous diplomas and certifications in greens keeping, construction, green roof etc.

Leon has used his expertise to build and donate healing gardens for Breast Cancer Support Services in Burlington, as well as Kerr Street Ministries Dream Centre in  Oakville.  Leon is an active member of The Rotary Club of Burlington North.

Leon and his wife, Victoria, have been married for 30 years, and have two sons, Connor and Stone. Leon enjoys spending his free time with his family, and riding his Peloton.

Eric Vandewall

Eric Vandewall is President and CEO of Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH) in Burlington, a position he assumed in 2009.

Under Eric’s leadership several major accomplishments have been realized at JBH. An ongoing focus to continue to improve quality care, safe care, and service excellence is evident throughout the hospital. In April 2014, and in 2018, Joseph Brant Hospital received Accreditation with Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada.  In addition, JBH recently completed the largest redevelopment and capital expansion project in the history of the hospital. Phase 1, the Halton McMaster Family Health Centre and new parking structure was completed in the Fall of 2014. Phase 2, the redevelopment and expansion of the hospital was completed in the fall of 2018.

Prior to joining JBH, Eric served as the Senior Vice President, Trillium Health Centre, and Vice President of Planning and Corporate Services at Trillium Health Centre. Eric has held a number of other senior management positions including Director, Health Outcomes at Glaxo Wellcome; Director, Health Reform Implementation Team, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care; and, Director, Health Promotion Branch, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He has held several other senior positions at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care over an 11 year period.

Eric is a graduate of Queen’s University and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration, Health Policy. He also has an undergraduate degree from Ryerson University in Architectural and he holds a Chartered Director designation from the Directors College, McMaster University.
