Burlington Soccer Club names Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation Official Charitable Partner for League 1 Bayhawks Teams

The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation is honoured to announce an official charitable partnership with the Burlington Soccer Club (BSC) and the Bayhawks League 1 team.

The BSC is committed to supporting the community with the ultimate goal of ensuring we are developing well-rounded young people who understand the importance of giving back to the community.

“As the Club continues to celebrate its 60th Anniversary year, we are ecstatic to announce a new partnership with the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation,” said Amal Chauhan, Executive Director, BSC. “We want to encourage the community to work together and support each other through this venture, with a specific focus on youth and adolescent mental health initiatives and the great work the Hospital is doing in this space.”

This BSC Strategic Plan places an emphasis on Community engagement, and the club strives to support the Burlington community through recreational and competitive sports

The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation inspires investment in Joseph Brant Hospital ensuring exceptional healthcare for our community.

The partnership features the JBH Foundation logo on our Men and Women League 1 Ontario jerseys, and includes a Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation promotional day on June 12 in support of Youth & Adolescent Mental Health Initiatives at JBH.

We’re coming door-to-door asking for your support

Joseph Brant Hospital is there for you and your family in the moments that matter most.

In order to provide the quality care that our community needs, we rely on your support to continue delivering exceptional health care, close to home. And we’re coming to neighbourhoods across Burlington this spring and summer to invite you to join our Community of Care with a monthly donation. When you sign up to be a monthly donor, you are selflessly contributing to our hospital’s mission of compassionate care and exemplary service, every time.

We execute these door-to-door campaigns through our partners, Globalfaces, and are excited to meet you and discuss the benefits of becoming a monthly supporter of our hospital.

We will be canvassing from May to July, and you will be able to identify our official fundraising representatives with their Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation apparel and lanyard with an identification badge.

Please note, that GlobalFaces fundraisers will never ask for cash, cheque, or your credit information at the door. If you receive a follow-up call from GlobalFaces’ contact centre, the call will come from one of the following numbers: 1- 833-478-0402 or 1-833-467-0237. These numbers also appear on the canvassers’ ID badges.

    • Not sharing materials or documents for a touchless experience
    • Wearing a face mask to protect both you and the fundraiser
    • Maintaining distance between you and the fundraiser
