Andrea Gordon

Andrea is the Managing Partner of GI Professional Corporation, a mid-sized professional accounting firm in Hamilton. Andrea is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and spent the first ten years of her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Andrea is a trusted business advisor and hands-on professional, who feels that a thorough understanding of a client’s business is essential to adding value beyond accounting. Andrea provides risk assurance, tax planning and advisory services for private client enterprises across the GTA. Her portfolio focuses on clients in a variety of industries such as real estate, construction, franchise operations and professional services.

Andrea is also a Board Member of The Charity of Hope, working to generate resources to make an impact on the lives of children and youth in communities across Canada. She lives in Burlington with her husband and two small children and is an avid skier.

Karen Dephoure

Karen has held progressive management roles within the Operations and Strategic Planning functions, most recently leading the Sales Enablement team at Ricoh Canada. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the sales organization from a data analytics, strategic planning/sales methodology and process improvement perspective. Karen is a graduate of McMaster University, with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration.

Being involved in her work and home communities has always been a passion for Karen. Work endeavours include participation in the Emergency Response Team, mentor program development and Shoreline Cleanup initiatives. She has also actively participated with her children’s dance and hockey activities over the years.

Karen and her husband Gary have lived in Burlington since 1996 and have 3 children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cycling, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Deepa Ganatra

Deepa is a registered physiotherapist with over 28 years’ experience treating athletes of all ages. She is currently self-employed as a physiotherapist, and a Learning Facilitator for Sport for Life Physical Literacy programs.

A life long resident of Hamilton -Burlington, Deepa is very involved in her community as an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority (a women’s organization serving the community) Beta Xi Chapter, and BSP Burlington City Council Executive. For over 15 years, she energetically participated on Parent Councils at Fairview Glen Montessori School and John T. Tuck Public School, and acted as team trainer and assistant coach for G01Y competitive soccer team (BYSC).

This is Deepa’s fourth year serving on the Board, and first year as Chair. She has participated on the JBH DEI Action Table for the last two years and is Chair of the JBHF Diwali Community Garba event committee. Deepa is honoured to have the opportunity to serve her community as a JBHF Board member. Deepa and her husband of 26 years have raised their four children in Hamilton/Burlington since 2001.
