Rotary Burlington Lakeshore announced a landmark pledge of $200,000 to the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation in support of the For All Minds campaign, supporting the redevelopment and expansion of the mental health & addictions unit at Joseph Brant Hospital.
This new space will have a transformational impact on mental health and addictions services for individuals and families across Burlington and Halton Region.
This significant commitment reflects Rotary’s long-standing dedication to improving community health and supporting vulnerable populations. Funds will directly support enhanced treatment environments, expanded programming, and improved care transitions for patients seeking mental health and substance-use support.
“Every family in Burlington is touched by mental health in some way,” said Will Pugh, President of Rotary Burlington Lakeshore. “Our pledge demonstrates Rotary’s belief that every person deserves compassionate, timely, and dignified mental health care.”
The For All Minds campaign addresses the growing demand for mental health services in the region, supporting upgrades to treatment spaces, increased crisis care capacity, and the expansion of therapy and outpatient programming.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support of Rotary Burlington Lakeshore for this much-needed project,” said Ashley Davidson, President & CEO of the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation. “This generous gift will have a life-changing and lasting impact on patients and families who rely on mental health care at Joseph Brant Hospital.”
