Mental illness affects all Canadians at some time either through their own experience, or that of a family member, friend or colleague.
We know that 75% of all mental health illnesses have an onset in childhood, adolescence or young adulthood; however, in many cases, these groups and their families do not have equitable access to specialized and core services/continuum of services as adults.
