Lori Stephenson

Lori is the co-founder of My Big Sky – a company that helps students and their families prepare for their post-secondary options and longer-term careers.  She is also founder and principal consultant for “Pivotal Learning” a coaching and facilitation practice that specializes in emotional intelligence, leadership development, communication and team effectiveness. Prior to starting her own business, Lori was Senior Manager, Global HR for Accenture.

Lori holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Adult Education, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations. She is certified in the following assessment tools: Emotional Intelligence (EQi 2.0, EQ360), Birkman Method and Hogan instruments.

Lori volunteered with the Distress Centre in Oakville since 2002 where she held roles as General Board Member, Chair and Co-Chair. Lori is the proud mother of two amazing daughters, owner of a less than obedient dog and grateful to have a sister, nephew, parents and dear friends living nearby. She enjoys traveling, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, reading and singing.
