Ippolito Group donates $6,250 through Sprouts to Support JBH

Jan 20, 2017
When David and Joel Ippolito approached their staff with the idea to launch an employee fundraising campaign, they wanted their employees help to decide where to direct the funds. The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation received overwhelming support, and employees and some of Ippolito Group’s vendors came together to donate $3,125, which was matched by the Ippolito Group dollar-for-dollar, for a total of $6,250.

The Ippolito Group maintains two facilities in Burlington where they package many varieties of produce. During the campaign, employees were encouraged to make a donation in support of Joseph Brant Hospital, and all donors had the opportunity to be recognized with their name on a cut-out of a Brussels sprout which was placed on the front window of their head office. With the success of this first campaign, the Ippolito Group is planning more fundraising activities to support Joseph Brant Hospital and other charitable organizations in the community.

Thanks to the Pasquale and Anita Paletta Family Match Challenge, this employee fundraising campaign raised a total of $12,500 for the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation.

Thank you to David and Joel Ippolito and all the Ippolito Group staff and vendors who participated in the campaign supporting leading-practice healthcare close to home.
