Kids Supporting Their Community!
Are you looking for a community service project for your school or classroom? Community service projects strengthen kids' sense of civic engagement and community, and help them achieve educational, developmental and social goals.
The Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation makes fundraising easy, fun and free for teachers, students and community members. The best part is that 100 percent of the funds raised go directly to supporting the equipment and critical needs of our Hospital’s Maternal and Child Unit and Oncology program.
Elementary School Program
“Light the Halls Holiday Campaign”
Students help to spread cheer during the Holiday Season by purchasing a Holiday light bulb for $2 to decorate and write an encouraging message for patients. The Christmas bulbs are then displayed throughout the Hospital effectively ‘lighting the halls’ for patients and visitors to enjoy during the Holiday Season!
High School Program
“Team Up for JBHF”
Team Up for JBHF is a student-led, student-run philanthropic program in which high school students raise both funds and awareness for Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation while showing their school spirit at the same time. Students plan and host fundraising events during high school spirit or sporting events to raise awareness and donations in support of their community hospital.
