Barb Seldon

Barb has had a private practice in counselling, psychotherapy and consulting for the past 15 years and is now in the process of retiring. Her focus has been on helping individuals, couples and families deal with life’s challenges and she has provided supervision and training and has helped organizations with team building, self- care, crisis response and supervision. She as a BA from the University of Guelph and an MSW from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Previously, she worked for the Halton District School Board, Joseph Brant Hospital, The Children’s Aid Society of Brant and the Halton McMaster Family Health Team in both front line and management positions. Barb has served on many community groups during her career and has done volunteer work with Bereaved Families of Ontario, Big Brothers and the KWY camping department.

She is married to Bryce Leggatt and has 2 adult step children. In her spare time, Barb enjoys being “Nana” to 5 grandchildren and is very active in fitness, hiking, golf, cycling and travel.
